1. How did it go? What was it like?

    1. I was diagnosed with Barrett’s Oesophagus a few years ago and this must be my 5th endoscopy. I am also involved with the Aspect Trial for Barrett’s Oesophagus and understand the need for regular checks and biopsies to be taken for research purposes
It is a very simple painless procedure for the patient and I just relax and have the anesthetic spray in my throat and the optional sedation and a few minutes later I am in the recovery area. I am constantly monitored during and after the procedure prior to receiving the interim report and being discharged
I have absolute confidence in Dr John and his team who carried out the endoscopy in a professional and caring manner.
